NLCS Homeschooling Options: Off-Campus & On-Campus

Home School Off-Campus Parent Facilitated (Kindergarten-12th Grade)

  1. New Life Christian School is registered with the Maryland Department of Education to oversee homeschoolers under our Umbrella Program
  2. Partner with New Life Christian School to homeschool under a Christian worldview umbrella
  3. Parents select, provide, and teach the curriculum
  4. Parents guide their child’s learning and track all coursework
  5. Connect with the NLCS Homeschool Umbrella Advisor for guidance and support to provide structure and accountability
  6. Submit progress and sample work for an NLCS Homeschool Umbrella Advisor on campus check-in twice a year

$500 for each additional student

Homeschool On-Campus Classes  (6th-12th Grade Only)

  1. Parents partner with New Life Christian School to homeschool under a Christian worldview taking one to three classes on campus
  2. Parents select specific classes for their child to take alongside their homeschool program
  3. Available for Middle and High school students
  4. Enroll in up to 3 classes per student each year
  5. Students enrolled in New Life Christian School on campus Homeschool are eligible to attend school events, activities, and athletics

OFF-CAMPUS & ON-CAMPUS HOMESCHOOL OPTIONS FAQS

  3. Assess progress and meet expected outcomes for each grade level

  5. Participation in school activities and events such as chapel, field trips, etc.
