New Life Christian Preschool is a structured, literature-based program taught from a biblical worldview. Our educational program includes reading instruction in large small group teacher directed centers. Phonics is emphasized as well as our sight word home reading program. Our preschool students enjoy learning every subject through a hands-on approach.

Our Preschool 3 & 4 programs at New Life Christian School are designed to meet the unique academic, emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs each child. Our highly educated and experienced teachers meet children where they are and develop age-appropriate activities full of exploration and play. We encourage curiosity and creativity!  Our programs emphasize Christian values and the teaching of God’s Word, as well as the importance of loving and serving Him and each other. Our students learn about God’s love for them through the Bible stories we read in class and during our weekly chapel.

Our goal is to foster growth in all areas of childhood development.  We help our students to understand the importance of sharing, respect, and other social skills in a context of what the Bible tells us about loving and caring for one another.  We provide age-appropriate instruction and play in a safe and secure environment designed to build a solid foundation of skills that will prepare your child to succeed academically at each successive grade level.

Preschool Learning

Each day, our students are excited to learn in Preschool! As our students enter our Preschool 4 Program, students enjoy a fun, literacy-based curriculum which includes phonics instruction and home reading program which targets sight-words. Our Preschool 4 curriculum targets Kindergarten readiness. With a hands-on approach, our NLCS curriculum fosters a love of reading with a biblical word-view, readying students for the exciting new world of Kindergarten.  

Preschool Highlights

Our goal is to foster growth in all areas of childhood development including social/emotional, cognitive, physical (fine and gross motor), speech, language, and spiritual development. Students enjoy bible reading and prayer daily . The children also attend Chapel where they enjoy worshiping and learning about God’s word together. New Life Preschool students attend Library, Music, Art and Computer enrichment classes weekly as well. Our well educated staff are experts in classroom management and focus on positive character traits to help in creating more resilience in our students. Register for a tour!

Weekly Enrichment Classes

Preschoolers enjoy a variety activities throughout the week that foster their creativity and literacy. Each week, students attend the following enrichment classes:

• Library
• Art
• Music
• Computer class

Prerequisites

 

• All students entering preschool must be potty-trained and able to use the facilities independently.

 

• Documentation required by the Office of Child Care must be submitted to the Director of Admissions prior to the student’s first day of school:
