Welcome to New Life Christian School!
We are thrilled you are interested in learning more about us! Located in Frederick, MD, and founded in 1988, we are a mission of our parent church, New Life Church. We are in the business of developing Christian World Changers! We are rooted in faith, committed to service, and dedicated to academic excellence.
At New Life Christian School, our purpose is to provide a sound, academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and His world to each student. We develop curriculum, programs, and learning opportunities designed to yield student development in three general areas: Spiritual Formation, Academic and Intellectual Development, and Life Skills Development.
In this environment, we encourage each child to reach toward the goal of excellence, not perfection. Training and nurturing their minds, their hearts, and their spirits in Godly ways produces mature students and leaders with an eternal perspective.
“I like NLCS because of the teachers. They are the best part of the school. The facility, the curriculum, the classes offered, the class size, the enrichment classes, the procedures, the schedule, the academic standard, and other pieces are all fine. The annual calendar, hot lunch program, safety protocols, communication with parents, and field trips are great…. The stand out characteristic, though, is the faculty. They care for the whole person in each student, including; spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual. They take the extra step to connect as well as educate.”
Tracy P., NLCS Parent
New Life Christian School is dually accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We achieved accredited school status from both ACSI, a Christian organization, and the Middle States Association which provides this same accreditation to the public schools. By completing this process in two accrediting associations, New Life Christian School has placed itself among the higher echelons of academic institutions, not just in the county and state, but also across the country.
