Our Purpose

The purpose of the Student Council is to assist our students to become leaders that strive to practice good citizenship both at school and home, show respect to all individuals within the school/ community, help others to achieve their goals, bridge the gap between the school and community, practice democracy in action, and honor God according to Colossians 3:17.

Eligibility

Student Council is open to all high school students that have and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Those elected by their peers will represent their classes throughout the year by “leading through service.”

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to, planning Homecoming, Spirit Week activities, Prom, and Carnival. We also provide service to the special events as needed. Training and equipping God honoring leaders that will one day help to change the world is our key goal. We would ask for your prayers throughout the year.
